Bao Long and Band to Play Tribute Concert to Thelonious Monk
Join us for a night of jazz with Bao Long and Band as they pay tribute to one of the most influential jazz musicians of all time, Thelonious Monk. The concert will take place on August 25th and 26th at Long Waits Jazz, starting at 8:30 PM.
Bao Long is a Vietnamese saxophonist and composer who has been praised for his virtuosity and his unique blend of jazz, funk, and soul. He will be joined by his bandmates, drummer Duc Anh, bassist Ha Vu, and pianist The Anh, for a night of high-energy music.
The band will be performing a focus on the album Genius Of Modern Music by Thelonious Monk. They are sure to get your feet moving and your head nodding.
